“École Maison is unlike any other center that I’ve worked in or visited,” comments Angie Blankenship.
Ms. Blankenship is the Director at École Maison, and has been for over five years. With that much time in, it’s clear she is committed to her job, and to what this special enrichment center in Hilliard represents. “There’s a vibe here that exudes love and care; it is not just a daycare and a job.”
Angie is a Columbus native, and an Ohio Gal through and through. She enjoys cheering on her favorite sports teams, The Ohio State University Buckeyes, the Cincinnati Reds, and the Cleveland Browns. Most of her family remains in the area, as well, and it’s important to her to stay close to them.
Angie Blankenship attended Ohio Dominican University where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management. She has also completed 30 hours of course work toward a degree in Child Development from Bowling Green State University.
Before joining École Maison, Angie worked in two other childcare centers. “I’ve been everything from a Floater, to a Lead Teacher, to an Assistant Director.”
Outside of École Maison, this wife and mother of five refers to herself as “the Ultimate Spectator.” Much of Angie Blankenship’s spare time is spent in bleachers and stands cheering on her kids at their sporting events. She also enjoys reading, dining with friends, and watching reality TV.
While her role with École Maison might be demanding at times, Angie loves what she does and is able to maintain a very positive outlook. “At the end of the day, no matter how stressed you may feel, you always walk in the next day knowing you are here with AND for a wonderful group of people!”
